作者介紹 作者艾略特．溫伯格 ELIOT WEINBERGER作家、翻譯家、編輯，被《紐約時報》譽為「世界偉大的隨筆家之一」。溫伯格的文學隨筆集包括Karmic Traces、An Elemental Thing、The Ghosts of Birds、Angels & Saints等。他對中國古典詩歌興趣濃厚，著有《觀看王維的十九種方式》，編寫The New Directions Anthology of Classical Chinese Poetry，並擔任Calligrams: Writings from and on China書系的主編。他將北島的詩作引介至英語世界，並翻譯大量拉丁美洲詩歌和散文，包括墨西哥諾貝爾文學獎得主帕斯（Octavio Paz）與智利詩人維多夫羅（Vicente Huidobro）的詩作，以及阿根廷作家波赫士（Jorge Luis Borges）的文集。其作品被譯為三十多種語言。Eliot Weinberger, described by The New York Times as“one of the world’s great essayists,” is a celebrated author, translator, and editor.
