內容簡介 《日出日落》依創作編年，收錄李魁賢近兩年詩作，共計58首，採用漢英雙語形式呈現。 詩人李魁賢自1963年投入詩創作以來，66年出版詩集22冊、詩作1243首，一生由少年日出時代，孜孜不倦，迄今已至暮年，面臨日落時刻，還不肯停筆。「日出而作，日落而息，人生汲汲營營，盡在此間；詩創作，也盡情於此 。」

作者介紹 李魁賢（Lee Kuei-shien）著；李魁賢（Lee Kuei-shien）譯李魁賢（Lee Kuei-shien）從事詩創作和翻譯逾半世紀，創作超過千首、翻譯五千首，獲國家文藝獎、吳濁流新詩獎、巫永福評論獎、賴和文學獎、榮後台灣詩人獎、台灣新文學貢獻獎、行政院文化獎、吳三連獎文學獎、真理大學台灣文學家牛津獎、蒙特內哥羅（黑山）共和國文學翻譯協會文學翻譯獎、塞爾維亞「神草」文學藝術協會國際卓越詩藝一級騎士獎，另獲韓國、印度、蒙古、美國等頒予多項國際詩獎。

　　日出而作，日落而息，人生汲汲營營，盡在此間；詩創作，也盡情於此，甚至日未出早已作，日已落猶未息。
　　自從1963年投入詩創作以來，66年於茲，出版詩集22冊，詩作1243首，一生由少年日出時代，孜孜不倦，迄今已至暮年，面臨日落時刻，還不肯停筆。
　　此集仍照往例，按創作編年方式收錄近兩年詩作，共計64首，採用漢英雙語，旨在配合參與國際詩交流活動，方便與國際詩人交往分享。
　　詩宜由自身表達，其餘不必多所置喙，而詩之分享，也往往不需多言，當可心領神會，一切盡在不言中。

If the people have no time to read poetry
we present the poetry in front of the people.
Now, you can see the poetry posted on the wall blinking at you
when get in and out of the Tamshui MRT station.
Now, you can see the poetry reflected on the ground through windows
when enter the exhibition hall rebuilt from the warehouse.
Now, you can refine your mind in front of the poetry
when drain yourself and liberate out of toilet.
Now, you can hear poetry calling from afar
when stand by the disabled public telephone booth.
In future, you can feel warm refreshed by poetry

墨西哥煙峰
獨立莊嚴的神態
突出雄據天空
黑色岩渣仍霸占
周圍山岡平地
貌似淡水觀音山
獨立安詳的神態
佈置四方青翠山脈
形成綠意大地
墨西哥乾燥的墨面土壤
成就熱情洋溢的民意
台灣深綠舒適的世界
培養善良溫順的民情
山的樣貌
在同情連結中
形成不同連結的詩情

*墨西哥煙峰， 是波波卡特佩特火山（Popocatépetl）的別稱，世界上最活躍的火山之一。

【Volcano Complex】

Mexican Smoking Mountain
erects on the high sky
in a solemn independent gesture.
Black scoria still dominantly spreads
all over surrounding hills and flats.
It is looked like Guanyin Mountain at Tamsui
which extends green surfaces along all directions
in a serene independent gesture
to form an greenish land over all.
The blacken surfaced dry soil in Mexico
achieves the passionate people,
while deep green world in Taiwan
cultivates a kindness and gentleness.

The appearance of mountains
displays different poetic connections
in a sympathetic complex.

* Mexican Smoking Mountain, alias Popocatépetl volcano, is one of the most active volcanoes in
the world.
