作者介紹

作者介紹 谷崎潤一郎 明治十九年生於東京日本橋（1886~1965）。東京帝大國文科肄業。明治四十三年與小山內薰等創刊第二次《新思潮》，發表〈刺青〉、〈麒麟〉等，受永井荷風激賞，確立文壇地位。最初喜歡西歐風格，關東大震災後遷移到關西定居，文風逐漸轉向純日本風格。以《痴人之愛》、《卍》、《春琴抄》、《細雪》、《少將滋幹之母》、《鍵》等展開富麗的官能美與陰翳的古典美世界，經常走在文壇的最高峰。晚年致力於《源氏物語》的現代語翻譯。《細雪》獲每日出版文化賞及朝日文化賞，《瘋癲老人日記》獲每日藝術大賞。一九四九年並獲頒文化勛章。一九六四年被選為第一位獲得全美藝術院榮譽會員的日本作家。
