Produced by Jean Gaudais between 1871 and 1879, this deck is characterized by an original game of symmetries created by a diagonal rope that mirrors the figures displayed in the cards. Being part of the long-lasting—and still wildly popular—French tradition, this deck represents an important branch of the Besançon genealogical tree. As any otherproduct of the Anima Antiqua line, this too is available in a limited edition of 3,999 copies.
