內容簡介 「2014台北雙年展」邀請法國高等美術學院院長（ENSBA, École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux Arts）尼可拉．布西歐（Nicolas Bourriaud）擔任策展人。布西歐以「劇烈加速度」（The Great Acceleration）為命題，挪用了科學家所提出的一種新假設－－「人類世」（Anthropocene）；同時，援引了老莊思想的自然觀，從人、動物、植物、礦物、物、東西之間思辨一種新的關係脈絡。 In 2014 the curator of the Taipei Biennial was Nicolas Bourriaud, director of the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux Arts (ENSBA). Christening the event “The Great Acceleration,” Bourriaud appropriated the scientific hypothesis of the Anthropocene, while also citing the conception of nature in the Daoist philosophy of Laozi and Zhuangzi, to speculate on a new relational context for humans, animals, plants, minerals, objects, and things.
