Melissa Cristina Márquez es bióloga marina hispana, educadora de vida silvestre, conferencista profesional y presentadora, y está muy orgullosa de serlo. Ha dado dos charlas TEDx sobre tiburones y mujeres científicas, y su trabajo ha sido destacado en NPR, Allure, Disney+, BBC, National Geographic, Good Morning America y más. En 2021, Melissa fue reconocida en la lista Forbes 30 Under 30, en la categoría de Ciencia, y en la lista InStyle 50 Badass Women. Melissa tiene una licenciatura en Ecología y Conservación Marina de New College of Florida y una maestría en Biología Marina de Victoria University. Nacida en Puerto Rico y criada en México, Melissa busca resaltar la importancia de la diversidad e inclusión a través de su escritura.
María Gabriela Gama es una ilustradora nacida y criada en la ciudad de São Paulo, Brasil, un lugar que la inspira a crear mundos coloridos. Con una licenciatura en Diseño Gráfico, comenzó su carrera profesional trabajando en publicidad, pero pronto descubrió el mundo mágico de la ilustración ¡y se enamoró de él!
