ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Danyail Lawton wrote the first version of this story in the ninth grade. Her teacher left a yellow sticky note on it telling her it was good. She kept that note through 23 years in the United States Air Force, five military moves and four overseas deployments, and finished the book 29 years later. Penelope and the Vase is the result.
