The Adventures of Jacktopus: In Search of Home
An Action-Packed, Humorous Middle-Grade Adventure About Courage, Friendship, and Finding Where You Belong
Looking for a laugh-out-loud adventure that sparks imagination, celebrates individuality, and keeps young readers turning the pages?
The Adventures of Jacktopus is a thrilling underwater journey about an octopus who desperately wants something his kind rarely seeks: friends, community, and a place to call home.
Born in a quiet Pacific reef, Jacktopus is anything but an ordinary octopus. While octopuses are known for their solitary nature, Jack longs for connection, play, and friendship. Unfortunately, making friends isn't easy-especially when his eight arms have minds, personalities, and agendas of their own!
From the daring Daredevil and theatrical Charmer to the anxious Scaredy-Cat and cynical Witter, Jack's eight arms are constantly squabbling, scheming, and dragging him into chaotic misadventures.
When Jack sets out across the ocean in search of the octopus sanctuary of Octlandia, he discovers that the journey home is anything but simple.
Along the way, he teams up with Claw, a boastful, cosmic-shelled lobster carrying a mysterious, magical book, and Silly, a joyful, octopus with a passion for MMA.
Together, they will:
Outwit deadly ocean predators.
Face a fanatical Crown-of-Thorns Starfish cult.
Stow away aboard a luxury cruise ship.
Hijack a floatplane.
Discover unexpected truths about courage from wise old sea turtles.
But reaching Octlandia is only the beginning.
When Carkari, a terrifying great white shark, threatens to destroy the sanctuary, Jack must confront the chaos within to protect the home he has finally found.
