作者介紹 Elisa Carbone is the author of thirteen books for young readers, from picture books to young adult novels, including some award winners. She wrote the Ari and Cricket books because she really likes it when readers learn something while having fun and she also loves it when she can make someone, anyone, laugh out loud. When she's not writing, her favorite places to be are cross-country skiing in the mountains of West Virginia, windsurfing on the Outer Banks of North Carolina, or playing blues piano at her home in Maryland. Kate Herbert is an author and illustrator living in Manchester, UK. She has been obsessed with books for as long as she can remember. She spent her childhood daydreaming, dawdling, collecting curiosities and making up stories with her toys. Kate feels this has stood her in good stead for working as a children's illustrator. She loves to create sophisticated, whimsical worlds for her characters to inhabit. As a mum of two young boys, she finds it a complete privilege to share this passion with them.
