內容簡介
內容簡介 Cell phones have become an inseparable part of modern life. They connect us to family, knowledge, work, community, and the wider world, but they can also become sources of distraction, temptation, heedlessness, and harm when used without guidance or restraint. Islam teaches us that every blessing carries a responsibility. Just as we are required to understand what benefits and harms us in our dealings with the created world, we must also learn how the sacred rulings and noble manners of our religion apply to the technology we carry in our hands each day. Over the past decade, we have witnessed the tremendous power of mobile technology and its profound effect upon our minds, relationships, homes, worship, privacy, and the development of our youth. A device small enough to fit inside a pocket can influence what we see, hear, say, share, and believe. It can become a means of knowledge and connection or a doorway to distraction, addiction, indecency, gossip, wasted time, and spiritual neglect. Alhamdullillah, I was guided to write this book in an effort to clarify some of the points of confusion in regards to cell of use and its etiquettes. Insha'Allah the aim is to present a practical, relevant book for anyone seeking to use modern technology with greater wisdom, discipline, gratitude, and God-consciousness.
