David F.Walbert is Senior Counsel at the law firm Parks, Chesin & Walbert in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. He has unparalleled experience with voting issues. He has handled many kinds of voting cases in a 45-year career that began with his first voting rights case in 1974. He has handled voting cases at every level from trial to arguing landmark cases in the United States Supreme Court. While Walbert has taught constitutional law and voting rights courses, his insights and provocative comments on Supreme Court decisions are not just the opinions of a constitutional law scholar. They are based on decades of real-world experience with legislators, governors, the Justice Department, and voting advocates, as well as with judges on every level, including the Supreme Court.
