ASAP Recovery: Fast Facts on the Teachings of Alcoholics and Narcotics Anonymous

Despite having a Christ-centered beginning, Alcoholics and Narcotics Anonymous' (or AA/NA's) foundation began to crack when they elected to replace the God of the Bible with a counterfeit "god of our own understanding" or making. Unfortunately, for those of us in the recovery community today, that crack has only grown wider and deeper as they have strayed farther and farther from biblical truths over the past few decades. Consequently, yesterday's Steps and Traditions no longer seem to be working for the majority of us in recovery today! Perhaps you're one of these people?

So often in our ministry, we meet people who have been working the Twelve Steps, and they share with us that AA/NA can't seem to get them to that finish line or that they just can't quite seem to reach that victory. ASAP Recovery has the solution for this group who feels overlooked and disappointed, and His name is Jesus! Now perhaps you're wondering: What is ASAP Recovery? We're glad you asked!ASAP Recovery is a faith based...individualized...Four-Step program that will guide you into an authentic...growing...relationship with Jesus that will empower you to live the rest of your life free of addictions and willful sin.Since the publication of our first book, ASAP Recovery: Tearing Out the Old Foundation, numerous men and women's lives have been changed by coming to the Lord and building their life and recovery on the right foundation of God's Word. However, the one question we always get is, "Don't you have a shorter version of this book?" ASAP Recovery: Fast Facts on the Teachings of Alcoholics and Narcotics Anonymous is our answer to that need. This much shorter book will seek to meet our brothers and sisters in recovery where they are by simply providing you, the reader, with just the meat and potatoes (or actual quotes) from the teachings of AA, NA, and the Bible. At the end of this condensed book, you will be able to decide for yourself whether AA, NA, or the Bible is the right foundation for you to build on.Having lost everything, Chuck Chapman came to know Christ while in jail in 2007.
