作者介紹
Samanta Schweblin (1978, Buenos Aires), estudiÃ3 cine y televisiÃ3n. Sus libros de cuentos El nðcleo del disturbio (2002), Siete casas vacÃ-as (2015) y Pàjaros en la boca y otros cuentos (Random House, 2017) obtuvieron, entre otros, los premios Casa de las AmÃ(c)ricas, Juan Rulfo y Narrativa Breve Ribera del Duero. Distancia de rescate (Random House, 2015) fue premiada con el Tigre Juan y el Ojo CrÃ-tico, nominada en 2017 al Booker International Prize, galardonada en 2018 con el Shirley Jackson, elegida por el Tournament of Books como mejor libro publicado en Estados Unidos, y llevada al cine en 2021 por Claudia Llosa. En 2020, Kentukis (Random House, 2018) fue finalista del Booker International Prize y premiada con el Mandarache.
