作者介紹 Kabbalist Rav Yehuda Ashlag, one of the most profound mystics and greatest spiritual teachers of the 20th Century, is revered by students of Kabbalah. Among his many accomplishments was the first-ever translation of the Zohar from its original Aramaic into Hebrew. Born in Poland in 1886, Rav Ashlag spent most of his life in what is now Israel, where in 1922 he founded the original Kabbalah Centre. He was the teacher and spiritual master of Rav Yehuda Brandwein, to whom leadership of The Centre was passed when Rav Ashlag died in 1954. In turn, when Rav Brandwein died in 1969, he designated Kabbalist Rav Berg to lead The Centre. Michael Berg, son of Rav and Karen Berg and an accomplished Kabbalah scholar and teacher, was the first person to translate the entire 2 3-volume Zohar from ancient Aramaic into English. He began this monumental task when he was only 1 8 years old, and completed it ten years later. He is co-director of Kabbalah Centre International and Kabbalah University (ukabbalah.com), the leading educational organization and web site dedicated to the wisdom of Kabbalah. His other books include The Secret, Secrets of the Zohar, Becoming Like God, and the national bestseller, The Way. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife and three children.
