作者介紹 Dr. Laurie J. Sampsel is Professor of Musicology at the University of Colorado Boulder, where she regularly teaches graduate music bibliography. Previously, she worked in music librarianship. The first edition of Music Research: A Handbook won Music Library Association's Vincent H. Duckles Award in 2010. Sampsel has been published in the Journal of Historical Research in Music Education, Notes, Journal of the Society for American Music, The Grove Dictionary of American Music, Nineteenth-Century Music Review, and more. Her additional research interests include American sheet music, music and musicians from Colorado, and sacred music from the Federal period.
