作者介紹 Radclyffe Hall (1880 - 1943) was an English poet and author. The name Radclyffe Hall was a pen name; she was born Marguerite Radclyffe-Hall. She was out as a lesbian who lived with several long-term partners throughout her life. The Well of Loneliness was her best-known work and would receive, during Hall's lifetime, a wealth of both support and condemnation. Those who opposed the book succeeded in having it banned in the UK in 1928, the same year it was originally published. The ban would not be overturned until after Hall's death.
