The Hymns of Hermes: Songs of the Soul - The Secret Teachings of Hermes Trismegistus - Echoes of Gnosis Collection Vol. II - Gnostic Books
HYMNS OF HERMES -LP
內容簡介
The Hymns of Hermes is a Gnostic book-one of the most sacred texts-as it reveals ancient divine principles, recovered from the sacred wisdom of the Egyptian-Greek tradition of Hermes Trismegistus.
In this work, Mead seeks to recover and explain the hymns of Thoth or Hermes Trismegistus. These are not mere songs of praise; they preserve the mysteries of Gnosis: the songs of the soul.
An essential book for those interested in the teachings of Hermes Trismegistus!
Gnosis is not a doctrine, cult, or religion-it is a path of inner transformation toward God.
George R. S. Mead invites us to hear the voice of the soul through the Hymns of Hermes Trismegistus, also known as the sacred songs of Thoth. These hymns were memorized by Egyptian priests and preserved the mysteries of the universe, the soul, and divinity.
These Hymns serve as a guide for the soul, preserving the principles of Gnosis. In these songs, the soul does not worship with mere words-it transforms. It reminds us of our divine origin and sings with its life a song of inner harmony.
For Mead, these hymns are living expressions of Gnosis: they do not teach dogma but spiritual awakening. They are songs of the soul to God, pure Gnosis, essential principles, pathways to the eternal center where man and God reunite.
This volume includes the five hymns of Hermes Trismegistus, explained and annotated-each song a doorway to Gnosis.
A faithful reedition of The Hymns of Hermes, originally published in 1907 as part of the Echoes from the Gnosis series, written by George Robert Stow Mead. Illustrated edition.
The Hymns of Hermes is a Gnostic work of ancient divine principles, recovered from the sacred Egyptian-Greek tradition. Each hymn resonates with a forgotten wisdom, where the soul sings to remember who it truly is.
Gnosis becomes a song: not only something to be thought, but to be sung from the heart and lived through the soul. Mead shows us that the path to God is not always silence-it is also sound, hymn, and spiritual vibration.
A transformative work that reveals Hermetic wisdom and the Egyptian tradition in its highest form. Includes:
✅Hermes Trismegistus and the Songs of Thoth-Hermes
✅The Service of Song
✅A Triple Trisagion
✅A Hymn to the All-Father God
✅The Secret Hymnody
✅A Hymn of Grace for Gnosis
✅A Song of Praise to the on
✅And much more!
With original hymns, and illustrations in a beautiful edition!
