It is a story that is meant to celebrate their lives and the absolute genius of childhood. Peace is the opposite of war, but childhood can seem like a truer opposite, a more tangible one, and this book seeks to make a case for that possibility. Siamak Vossoughi is an Iranian-American writer living in Seattle. He has had stories published in various journals and is the author of two short story collections, Better Than War (recipient of a 2014 Flannery O' Connor Award for Short Fiction) and A Sense of the Whole.
