作者介紹 Jeanne-Marie Leprince de Beaumont (1711-1780) was a French writer, educator, and novelist, best known for her version of the tale Beauty and the Beast. The daughter of French painter and engraver Jean-Baptiste Leprince and Marie-Barbe Plantart, who died when she was young, she was raised in a convent and later worked as a governess and published various educational works aimed at children and young people, combining moral teachings with narrative. She was a pioneer in children's literature and her pedagogical approach had a notable influence on the way of writing for young readers. - Agnese Baruzzi (1980) is the daughter of a typographer and a librarian, and has loved books for as long as she can remember. She has a degree in Graphic Design. As a children's book illustrator, she has published albums in Korea, the United States, France, Italy, England, Japan, Portugal... and now also in Spain.
