作者介紹

作者介紹 Alex Michaelides (Chipre, 1977) estudió Literatura Inglesa y Psicoterapia. Trabajó en una unidad de seguridad para adultos jóvenes, experiencia que le proporcionó material e inspiración para La paciente silenciosa (Alfaguara Negra, 2019), su primera novela: un thriller traducido en cuarenta países, que cuenta ya con dos millones y medio de lectores en todo el mundo y cuyos derechos cinematográficos han sido comprados por la productora de Brad Pitt; además, ha sido uno de los tres libros ganadores del Premio de los lectores de Goodreads, en el que votan casi cinco millones de personas. Tras Las Doncellas (Alfaguara Negra, 2021), que será adaptada como serie para la televisión, La furia es su última novela. Michaelides también ha sido guionista de películas como Un robo inesperado, protagonizada por Uma Thurman y Tim Roth, y ha colaborado con David Fincher.
