內容簡介 Detective Diana Stapleton has worked for the Montpellier homicide squad for too long. Her children are grown, her partner is injured, and she's stuck on desk duties after a serial killer mowed her down in a car. Now in her fifties, her career has stagnated. So when she's called in the middle of the night to help translate American Sign Language for a witness, she finds the change of pace welcome, especially when she meets Naomi Happleburn, a reclusive graphic designer with overly sensitive hearing.
