作者介紹 SARAH M. S. PEARSALL is an award-winning historian with degrees from Yale, Harvard, and Cambridge, where she taught for nearly a decade. She is a professor in, and soon to be Chair of, the Department of History at Johns Hopkins. She wrote this book as both a National Endowment for the Humanities Public Scholar and Distinguished Fellow in the American Revolution at the British Library.
