Se lanzó como artista a los 20 años y hoy es una leyenda viva de la música regional mexicana. Con una voz poderosa y un estilo inconfundible, pionero de su familia, elevó el legado Rivera a lo más alto, conquistando millones de corazones con éxitos como Despreciado, El Moreño, Yo sé que soy lo peor y Grandes ligas.
Inmerso en la cuarta década de su trayectoria, cuenta con más de veinte álbumes, muchos certificados con oro y platino.
