內容簡介 Wynken, Blynken, & Nod and Wellsboro Eugene Field's classic bedtime poem--about three children's adventures sailing in a wooden shoe--is brought to life with Linda Stager's photographs.The statue of Wynken, Blynken, & Nod was created by Colorado artist Mabel Landrum in the early 1920s. The mayor of Denver, Robert W. Speer admired the original work so much that he commissioned the artist to sculpt one in marble for Washington Park in Denver, Colorado. The original bronze statue was donated by Fred Bailey in honor of his wife, Elizabeth Cameron Bailey. The statue was placed in her memory on Wellsboro's Green, where It has remained since its dedication on Friday, September 23, 1938.
