作者介紹 Sophocles (ca. 495-405 BCE) was an ancient Greek dramatist. David Grene (1913-2002) taught classics for many years at the University of Chicago. He was a founding member of the Committee on Social Thought. Glenn W. Most is a visiting member of the Committee on Social Thought at the University of Chicago and an external scientific member of the Max Planck Institute for the History of Science in Berlin. Mark Griffith is the Klio Distinguished Professor Emeritus of Classical Languages and Literature, and professor of classics and theater, dance, and performance studies at the University of California, Berkeley.
