Joe Cepeda es el galardonado ilustrador de más de treinta y cinco libros para niños. Ha ilustrado libros escritos por numerosos autores de renombre, incluyendo Gary Soto, Pam Muñoz Ryan, Arnold Adoff, Monica Brown, Julius Lester y Toni Morrison. Joe es autor e ilustrador de Rafa Counts on Papá y varias de las primeras lecturas de la serie I Like to Read, incluyendo Up, I Dig, I See y I Hop.
