作者介紹
William Miller is the award-winning author of numerous books for children for Lee & Low. Mr. Miller lives in York, Pennsylvania, where he teaches African American literature and creative writing at York College.
Cornelius Van Wright is an award-winning children's book illustrator, an author, and an art instructor. He has illustrated numerous picture books, many of which he co-illustrated with his wife, Ying-Hwa Hu. His work has appeared on Reading Rainbow and Storytime and has been exhibited in the Society of Illustrators. Cornelius's author-illustrated picture books have garnered praise from The Horn Book, Kirkus Reviews, School Library Journal, and many others. Cornelius lives with his wife in New York City. Ying-Hwa Hu and her husband Cornelius Van Wright have illustrated dozens of award-winning books. Their illustrations have been praised by Kirkus Reviews as "bright, detailed and dynamic, vividly depicting . . . characters' facial features and personalities." Hu, who was born in Taiwan, lives in New York City.
