Mt Fuji is magnificently represented by the master thanks to his highly personal conception that combines the sacred dimensions of the mountain with earthly views representing many different human activities. Each print is accompanied by a technical explanation that helps the reader to understand the image, with descriptions where possible of the actual places depicted.

作者介紹

作者介紹 關於作者伊莉莎貝塔．史坎坦布羅（Elisabetta Scantamburlo）為藝術與設計評論家，擁有東亞研究博士學位，並曾於東京慶應大學從事研究工作。她曾策劃多項展覽，並與東京的國際北齋研究中心合作，參與多場浮世繪木版畫的重要展覽製作。著有《春畫：日本情色藝術中的欲望圖像》（Shunga: Images of Desire in the Erotic Art of Japan）一書。About the AuthorElisabetta Scantamburlo is an art and design critic. She obtained her doctorate in East Asian Studies and carried out research at Keio University in Tokyo. She has curated exhibitions and collaborated with The International Hokusai Research Centre in Tokyo in the realization of important exhibitions on Ukiyo-e woodblock prints. She is the author of Shunga: Images of Desire in the Erotic Art of Japan.
