作者介紹 Mai Al-NakibMai Al-Nakib is the author of ""An Unlasting Home,"" a novel published by Mariner Books HarperCollins in 2022. Her collection of short stories, ""The Hidden Light of Objects,"" published by Bloomsbury, won the Edinburgh International Book Festival’s First Book Award in 2014. Her short stories have appeared in various publications, including, ""Ninth Letter,"" ""The First Line,"" ""After the Pause,"" and ""World Literature Today."" She holds a PhD in English from Brown University and teaches English and comparative literature at Kuwait University.
