內容簡介
內容簡介 • Remastered Expanded Edition CD & 180g Gold VinylTwo guitar legends — B.B. King and Eric Clapton — first performed together in an impromptu jam session in New York City in 1967. More than 30 years later, in 1999, the two longtime friends joined forces to record a collection of new studio performances of blues classics and contemporary songs. The resulting album, Riding With The King, was released in June 2000, charted internationally, sold more than two million copies worldwide, and earned a Grammy Award for Best Traditional Blues Album in 2001.Now, in honor of what would have been B.B.'s 100th birthday, the remastered expanded edition is available on 180g gold vinyl and CD.Originally, the collaborative album featured 12 tracks, including five songs selected by Eric from B.B.'s back catalog. Two additional tracks — "Rollin' and Tumblin'" and "Let Me Love You Baby" — were included in an expanded edition, which has now been remastered. Both songs were recorded during the original sessions and produced by Simon Climie, who co-produced the original album with Eric. The album features an all-star line-up of musicians including Jimmie Vaughan, Andy Fairweather Low, Steve Gadd, Nathan East, Joe Sample, Doyle Bramhall II, Susannah and Wendy Melvoin, Jim Keltner, and Tim Carmon. Celebrated producer and arranger Arif Mardin contributed string arrangements and orchestration to two tracks.[Track Listings]- CD -01. Riding with the King02. Ten Long Years03. Key To The Highway04.
