作者介紹

作者介紹 Oscar WildeOscar Wilde was a famous Irish writer born in 1854. He loved books, stories and making people laugh with clever words. He wrote plays, poem and magical fairy tales like ‘The Happy Prince’, as well as a famous novel called The Picture of Dorian Gray. Many of his plays, including ‘The Importance of Being Earnest’, are still performed today. After his release from prison, where he was sentenced to hard labour because of his romantic relationship with another man, he died in France aged 46.Lauren O'HaraLauren O'Hara is a Dublin- based illustrator, originally from the north of England. Her books include Curtain Up!: Behind the Scenes at the Royal Opera House and Sophie Dahl’s Madam Badobedah series. Lauren has three times been nominated for the CILIP Kate Greenaway award. Her book Madame Badobedah with author Sophie Dahl was the Guardian's book of the year, and Frindleswylde by Natalia O'Hara was awarded the Children's Books Ireland Illustration Honour award. She lives in a converted church in Dublin with her partner and assorted ghosts.
