How Many Elves is Too Many? (+QR Code
Count the busy elves in this adorable Christmas story about friendship that will teach children that sometimes less is more.
At Christmas time an elf arrived . . . but very soon I knew . . .
one little elf was not enough and so I needed . . . two!
When an elf comes to stay, you’re sure to have lots of fun. But wouldn’t 2 . . . 3 . . . 4 . . . or even 10 elves be better still? Or would their over-enthusiastic present wrapping and noisy festive tunes create just a bit too much Christmas chaos?! Perhaps just one special elf friend is perfect . . .
From the creators of How Many Dinosaurs is Too Many? and Charlie Chooses – Lou Peacock (A Whale of a Time, Oliver Elephant and The Bear, the Book and the Blanket) and Nicola Slater (The Leaf Thief, the Hello series and the Meekoo series) – comes this rhyming romp that shows that true happiness is often found in what you already have.
作者介紹
Lou Peacock loves words, stories and poems and has nearly thirty years of experience in children’s publishing. She is Nosy Crow’s Publishing Director at Large for Picture Books, and her own stories have been published in nearly 30 languages. Lou’s previous poetry anthology – the highly-acclaimed A Whale of a Time, illustrated by Matt Hunt – was a Waterstones Book of the Year in 2023 and also The Times book of the week. She lives in Oxfordshire with her husband and son and their small black fluffy dog called Lyra.
Nicola Slater
Born in the wild and windy north, Nicola began her career as an usher, but life by the big screen was too heady and too fast. Instead, she chose to study Illustration in Buckinghamshire, where she developed a passion for children's books that far surpassed her love of popcorn. She has since had books published here and in the United States, which include Best Friends, Spot a Lot, and Leaping Lemmings. Nicola lives with her family in Cheshire, close to the local cinema where she likes to occasionally lurk in the foyer.
