EVERYDAY PHYSICS FOR KIDS AGES
內容簡介
Everyday Physics for Kids Ages 8-12: Discover the Science Behind Sports, Machines, Electricity, Gravity, Light, Sound, and the Amazing Things You See Every Day
Why does a soccer ball curve through the air? How does a bicycle move? Why do some objects float while others sink? How does a light bulb turn electricity into light? Why does your voice sound different from a recording?
Everyday Physics for Kids Ages 8-12 helps young readers discover the fascinating science hidden in ordinary moments. From sports and playgrounds to household machines, electricity, sound, light, and the world beyond Earth, this book shows how physics is part of everyday life.
Instead of relying on complicated formulas, the book explains physics concepts through familiar examples, engaging activities, simple experiments, and questions that encourage children to think like scientists.
Inside, young learners can discover:
The physics behind sports and games
Motion, speed, and forces
Gravity and falling objects
Energy and how it moves and changes
Simple machines and everyday inventions
Electricity and how circuits work
Magnets and magnetic forces
Light, colors, shadows, and reflection
Sound, vibrations, and waves
Air, water, and pressure
The physics behind vehicles and machines
Space and the forces that shape our universe
Fun activities and experiments
Fascinating facts connected to everyday life
Each topic helps children connect scientific ideas to things they already know and experience. A bouncing ball, a spinning bicycle wheel, a flashlight, a musical instrument, or a simple household machine can all become opportunities to explore physics.
Perfect for:
Children ages 8-12
Curious young scientists
STEM and science enthusiasts
Homeschool families
Elementary and middle-grade science enrichment
Parents looking for educational activities
Kids who enjoy experiments and discovering how things work
Young learners interested in sports, machines, technology, and space
Everyday Physics for Kids Ages 8-12 encourages children to look at familiar objects and activities in a new way. It turns everyday experiences into opportunities for scientific discovery and helps young readers understand that physics isn't just a subject in a classroom-it is happening all around them.
