作者介紹 Recipient of the Louisiana Writer Award, Johnette Downing is a musician, author, illustrator, and haiku poet with thirty books and thirteen recordings. Called the "Musical Ambassador to Children" and the "Bard of the Bayou," Johnette has received dozens of awards, and has performed on five continents. She resides in both Louisiana and Massachusetts with her husband. Holly Stone Barker is an illustrator, surface pattern designer, teacher, and certified Mcgowen rug hooker. A graduate of Pratt University in Communications Design, Holly is the illustrator of six children's books. A world traveler, Holly has lived in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and in several US states, and currently resides in Louisiana with her husband, two children, and dog.
