GODS COLORFUL EASTER
內容簡介
Noted biblical scholar, theologian, professor, and author Esau McCaulley has written a beautiful Easter storybook honoring God's diverse and colorful kingdom that is sure to become a family favorite at Easter or any time!
Within the context of God's love of ethnic diversity and his concern for the poor, his justice, and his compassion, God's Colorful Easter tells the story of Easter from a unique perspective: that of Simon of Africa, who carried the cross for Jesus. This gorgeous picture book, based on God's Colorful Kingdom Storybook Bible, helps young children understand God's plan for the redemption of all the world's people and his intentional design for an ethnically diverse, multicultural church that cares for the vulnerable.
Families of all ethnicities, nationalities, and backgrounds will be drawn to Esau McCaulley's fresh, yet faithful, retelling of the Easter story. With the expertise of a Bible scholar and the heart of a father, McCaulley clearly illuminates God's love for all people in this story of the sacrificial death and resurrection of Jesus--who died that ALL people could become part of God's colorful kingdom.
McCaulley's clear and winsome retellings, alongside the breathtaking artwork of Rogério Coelho from God's Colorful Kingdom Storybook Bible, will capture the hearts and minds of kids and parents alike. With the captivating words set within sweeping scenes, never-before imagined perspectives, and fascinating textures and colors, children will be inspired to see the immense beauty of God's diverse family and his amazing love in powerful, new ways.
