Each painting is a poignant reflection of the present that he hopes to pass down to his newborn daughter as well as the next generation in inspiring them to be more thoughtful about their local heritage, as they continue to beat the odds. A heartfelt and at times haunting tribute to his beloved home, Don’s first book also features a striking use of colour and authentic storytelling depicting meaningful moments that will forever remain frozen in time.

作者介紹
Don Mak
Don Mak is a Hong Kong-based artist whose passion and artistry bloomed at an early age. Leaving school at 16 to join local comic talents before continuing his higher education in art and design, he eventually graduated with a BA (Hons) in Design – Visual Communication from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and became a member of the Hong Kong Society of Illustrators in 2004. Since setting up his own studio DONMAK & CO., he has exhibited his work and continues to collaborate with various publishers and advertising agencies.
