She has also written for the Guardian, New York Times, Nature and the BBC, and has won various awards for her journalism. Her book, Unthinkable: An Extraordinary Journey Through the World’s Strangest Brains was a Times Book of the Year in 2018.Helen has a BSc in Neuroscience and an MSc in Science Communication. She lives in London.
