Orb of Destiny is a richly illustrated children's fantasy adventure about curiosity, courage and continuing forward when the way ahead is uncertain. Each page draws readers deeper into a colourful realm of purple towers, enchanted staffs, ancient signs, mysterious houses and magnificent mythical creatures. The simple, accessible storytelling makes Mary's quest easy to follow, while the detailed artwork gives children plenty to notice, discuss and revisit.
At the heart of the story is an unusual young heroine who does not wait for someone else to solve the mystery. Mary asks questions, seeks guidance and takes action.
