Christos Gage sold his first screenplay in 1997 and has been working steadily ever since; he started writing comics in 2004 with DC's Deadshot miniseries, featuring the sharpshooting antihero from Suicide Squad. He then began co-writing Avengers: The Initiative with Dan Slott, which led to him becoming the sole writer on the book and its successor, Avengers Academy. His additional Marvel credits include Civil War: Casualties of War, House of M: Avengers, Iron Man, Union Jack and World War Hulk: X-Men, as well as a prominent run on X-Men: Legacy.

Writer Michael Costa is best known for his work at IDW Publishing on several G.I. Joe titles, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Micro-Series and Smoke and Mirrors. Costa's credits also include God Is Dead for Avatar Press and DC's New 52 series Blackhawks. For Marvel, Costa has demonstrated an affinity with web-slinging characters across titles including Scarlet Spiders, Venom, Web-Warriors and the Secret Wars tie-in Spider-Verse, as well as the All-New X-Men/Indestructible Hulk/Superior Spider-Man crossover "Arms of the Octopus."

A veteran TV writer, Marc Guggenheim has scribed episodes of The Practice, Law & Order and Brothers & Sisters; created the series Eli Stone; and served as a writer/producer for FlashForward and executive producer on the highly successful Arrow. In the world of comics, he came on strong with memorable work on Blade, Wolverine, Amazing Spider-Man and Young X-Men. Subsequent Marvel credits include X-Men, the Secret Wars limited series Squadron Sinister and X-Tinction Agenda, and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. for All-New, All-Different Marvel.

Los Angeles-based writer and photographer Sam Humphries made his Marvel debut on John Carter: Gods of Mars with artist Ramón Pérez. His diverse range of other credits include Our Love Is Real, a sci-fi love story with artist Steven Sanders; Sacrifice with artist Dalton Rose; and Fraggle Rock. Humphries took on Ultimate Comics Ultimates, Uncanny X-Force and Avengers A.I. before launching the Legendary Star-Lord into his own solo series of the same name.

Writer Jason Aaron saw his early collaboration with artist Cameron Stewart on DC/Vertigo's The Other Side named one of the Washington Post's Best Comics of 2007. His next project, Scalped, garnered industry-wide praise and led to a guest spot on Wolverine, beginning Aaron's long association with Logan on various titles, as well as the rest of Marvel's merry mutants on books including X-Men: Schism, Wolverine & the X-Men and Amazing X-Men. Aaron rocked the Marvel Universe with Original Sin and unfolded a status-quo-shattering Asgardian epic across multiple Thor titles. He was the ideal choice to steer the Rebel crew of Star Wars into new adventures on the series' return to Marvel, and he ushered in a new era for the publisher with Marvel Legacy. In the wake of that one-shot, he took on Earth's Mightiest Heroes in a sprawling, multiversal run on Avengers; welcomed another iconic property back to the House of Ideas with Conan the Barbarian; and put Frank Castle in charge of the Hand in a shocking relaunch of Punisher.

Award-winning comic-book creator Brian Michael Bendis is one of the most successful writers in the industry today. In addition to an acclaimed run on Daredevil, he has helmed a renaissance for Marvel's popular Avengers franchise and written the event projects House of M, Secret War, Secret Invasion, Siege, Age of Ultron and Civil War II. Bendis wrote every issue of Ultimate Spider-Man from its launch in 2000 before bringing his multiracial Spider-Man, Miles Morales, to the Marvel Universe for continuing adventures. He took on Marvel's mutants in the pages of All-New X-Men and Uncanny X-Men, and launched Guardians of the Galaxy into the stratosphere. Bendis shook up the life of Tony Stark in Invincible Iron Man and related titles, introducing Riri Williams as Ironheart, and then assembled street-level heroes Luke Cage, Iron Fist, Daredevil and his co-creation Jessica Jones in Defenders. His creator-owned projects include Scarlet with Alex Maleev, Brilliant with Mark Bagley, and Takio and the Eisner Award-winning Powers with Michael Avon Oeming.

Garth Ennis has been writing comics since 1989. His credits include Preacher, Hitman, The Boys and the war series Battlefields and War Story, as well as successful runs on The Punisher and Fury for Marvel Comics. Originally from Belfast, Northern Ireland, Ennis now resides in New York City with his wife, Ruth.

Chad Bowers is the co-writer, together with Chris Sims, of X-Men '92 and Infinity Wars: Sleepwalker for Marvel. Their credits also include Subatomic Party Girls, Bill & Ted's Most Triumphant Return and the Young Adult Library Services Association-nominated Down Set Fight!

Chris Sims is primarily known for his work as the senior writer of the Eisner Award-winning Comics Alliance. Since 2007, he's been collaborating with co-writer Chad Bowers on projects like the Oni Press graphic novel Down Set Fight! and the Marvel Comics series X-Men '92 and working as the sole writer on self-published titles like Skater X and Dracula the Unconquered.

Marguerite Bennett has worked for Marvel, DC and BOOM! on projects from Batman and Secret Wars to FOX's Sleepy Hollow. She has collaborated with writers such as Scott Snyder, Kieron Gillen, Tom Taylor and Chris Claremont, and artists ranging from Stephanie Hans to Bill Sienkiewicz.

After breaking into comics with the Marvel UK imprint, Spanish artist Paco Diaz joined writer Christopher Priest on Deadpool. He has since worked on titles such as Nightwing and Wonder Woman for DC, Prototype 2 for Dark Horse, and the Dungeons & Dragons Annual 2012 for IDW. Diaz's extensive Marvel credits include Hawkeye: Blindspot, X-Men: Emperor Vulcan, Mighty Avengers, Wolverine and Thunderbolts. At the cutting edge of the digital-comics revolution, Diaz drew Wolverine vs. Thor and worked on the Wolverine: Japan's Most Wanted Infinite Comic.

Portuguese architect, illustrator and comics creator André Araújo has illustrated Bluewater Productions' The Legend of Isis, as well as publishing creator-owned works through Zona, a Portuguese magazine for comic creators, and on the Web. Araújo's distinctive style provided a unique look to Avengers A.I.

Following his dynamic and eye-catching work on Marvel UK's Dark Guard, the late Spanish artist Carlos Pacheco went on to illustrate Bishop, X-Universe, Starjammers and Excalibur for Marvel before becoming regular penciler on X-Men. He then teamed with Kurt Busiek on the fan-favorite Avengers Forever. Pacheco wrote and drew Fantastic Four, and penned a spin-off Inhumans limted series. His first work upon returning to Marvel in 2009 was Ultimate Comics: Avengers with writer Mark Millar. He subsequently helped relaunch Uncanny X-Men with Kieron Gillen, worked on the event series Age of Ultron and drew Captain America.

For Miralti Firmansyah, the beat dropped when she brought the annual rave party Tomorrowland, straight from Belgium to comic book in 2013. She honed her skills doing work like "Maximum Force" in Heavy Metal magazine until she landed on the charming miniseries Star Lord and Kitty Pride. It was her first encounter with the Marvel family in 2015, teaming up with Jessica Kholinne. She then slipped happily into reminiscing about her childhood heroes while illustrating X-Men '92.

Two-time Eisner Award winner Chris Sprouse first garnered acclaim as the penciler for DC Comics' Legionnaires and has gone on to draw numerous titles for nearly every publisher in the industry. He is perhaps best known for his work on Wildstorm/DC Comics' Tom Strong series, which he co-created. Other works include Batman and Justice League for DC, Uncanny X-Men and Thors for Marvel, and an adaptation of the Star Wars novel Splinter of the Mind's Eye for Dark Horse.

Hired on the strength of his Official Marvel Tryout penciling submission, Mark Bagley rose to prominence as the artist of 1990s sleeper hit New Warriors. Following an acclaimed run on Amazing Spider-Man, he worked with writer Kurt Busiek on Thunderbolts. When Marvel launched its Ultimate line, Bagley and Brian Michael Bendis led the way with Ultimate Spider-Man, whose years of success made the pair the longest-running creative team in Marvel history. Bendis and Bagley have also collaborated on Avengers Assemble and the creator-owned Brilliant. His subsequent credits include Fantastic Four, Cataclysm: The Ultimates' Last Stand, Hulk, All-New X-Men and Venom.

If you've read any Marvel series since 2009, chances are it featured a cover from artist Michael Del Mundo at some point. Del Mundo's artwork has fronted such well-known series as Amazing Spider-Man and Invincible Iron Man. After delivering gallery-standard illustrations page after page in Elektra, he brought his unique talents to Secret Wars tie-in Weirdworld and its subsequent All-New, All-Different Marvel relaunch. Following a stint on Avengers with Mark Waid, Thor saw Del Mundo reunite with his original Weirdworld collaborator, Jason Aaron.

Artist Russell Braun has been working in the comic-book industry for more than a decade. His unforgettable work helped make Batman: Venom one of the Top 25 Batman Stories of all time, as voted by the popular website IGN.com. He has also contributed to Animal Man and the Big Books line from DC Comics.

Throughout the 1990s, Scott Koblish inked his way across the Marvel Multiverse with runs on Captain America, Elektra, G.I. Joe, Marc Spector: Moon Knight, Marvel Comics Presents, Punisher War Journal, and multiple titles in the X-Men and 2099 subgenres. He inked his own pencils on Uncanny X-Men: First Class and Wolverine: First Class before providing art for Marvel Adventures the Avengers, Marvel Adventures Fantastic Four, Marvel Adventures Iron Man and more. He also inked several limited series set in the MC2 universe. Koblish has since firmly established himself as one of the greatest Deadpool artists of all time.

Italian artist Carmine Di Giandomenico drew Zeb Wells' gritty Daredevil: Battlin' Jack Murdock limited series and visualized the highly stylized, street-level suspense of Spider-Man Noir with writers David Hine and Fabrice Sapolsky. With writer Greg Rucka, he pitted Frank Castle against the Avengers in Punisher: War Zone, and with Nick Spencer he illustrated the adventures of James Rhodes in Iron Man 2.0. He later united with Peter David to deliver a fresh take on a familiar team in All-New X-Factor for All-New Marvel NOW! and Marc Guggenheim for the Secret Wars tie-in series X-Tinction Agenda.

Artist Mike Norton introduced young Marvel super hero Gravity with writer Sean McKeever. He has also drawn multi-issue runs of Marvel Adventures Spider-Man and Runaways, in addition to shorter stints on Marvel projects such as New X-Men, Nick Fury's Howling Commandos and I [Heart] Marvel: Masked Intentions, the latter featuring Firestar and Justice. Other work includes All-New Atom, The Waiting Place, Jason and the Argobots, Queen and Country, Green Arrow/Black Canary and Voltron. He also served as art director for Devil's Due Publishing.
