Before that, he spent decades designing and building video games like Torchlight, Rebel Galaxy, and Fate. He lives in the Pacific Northwest.

Samuel Sattin is a best-selling, Eisner-nominated writer, editor, and narrative designer of immersive stories across animation, comics, games, and publishing. His books include the national bestselling UNICO Awakening series, Buzzing, Side Quest, The Silent End, and (as co-author) both A Kid's Guide to Anime & Manga and The Essential Anime Guide.
