內容簡介 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.初めに、神は天と地を創造された。1:2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.地は形がなく、空虚であった。そして、暗闇が深淵の面を覆っていた。すると、神の御霊が水面を動いた。1:3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.神は言われた、「光あれ」と。1:4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.神は光を見て、それが良いものであると判断し、光と暗闇とを分けられた。1:5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.神は光を昼と呼び、暗闇を夜と呼んだ。そして、夕方と朝が初日でした。
