內容簡介 50 years In the spring of 2018, Ketil Bjørnstad realized that there was only barely a year left before 50 years had passed since he made his debut as a pianist with the Philharmonic in the University's Aula on 10 January 1969. On that day this year, the commemoration of what is the Bjørnstad year began 2019 with a lovely new release of Rainbow Sessions. On 9 August, The World I Used To Know will be released on Grappa Musikkforlag, which was recorded in the world's most famous studio - Abbey Road in London, more specifically in Studio Two where, among others, The Beatles recorded their material. The album is released not only on CD, vinyl and digital, but also as a magnificent box set consisting of five CDs. All of these contain the recordings from Abbey Road, but the box also contains three CDs of music from his entire career with various guest vocalists, and not least another new record that was recorded at Rainbow Studio here in Oslo. Two days later, Bjørnstad is responsible for the opening concert in the Opera during the Oslo Jazz Festival - or, the concerts are perhaps more correct, as there will be two of them on this day, 11 August. Both of these are now sold out!
