內容簡介 Self-taught artist Carol Rama's unconventional painting encompasses an erotic, even sexually aggressive universe populated by "mutated" characters who present themes of sexual identity with specific references to female sensuality. This catalog of a major retrospective of Rama's work-over 150 pieces in all-at the Fondazione Sandretto de Rebaudengo was organized in conjunction with MART in Rovereto and is a crowning document to her career.

作者介紹 Francesco Bonami was director of the 50th Venice Biennale of Art and is senior curator of the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago. Guido Curto is an art critic and professor of art history at the Accademia Albertina delle Belle Arti of Turin. He is a regular contributor to Flash Art and La Stampa.Judith Russi Kirshner is a critic, curator, and dean of the College of Architecture and the Arts at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Giorgio Verzotti is chief curator of the Museo d'arte moderna e contemporanea di Trento e Rovereto (MART). He is a regular contributor to several art magazines, including Artforum.
