內容簡介 左乙萱的第三本書《洛夫與超現實主義：超現實主義的技巧與觀念、《石室之死亡》與〈金龍禪寺〉》指出洛夫造詣非凡的超現實詩《石室之死亡》與〈金龍禪寺〉反映洛夫的超現實主義論作與他參考的超現實主義英文書中的超現實主義技巧與觀念。自創「詩之美可感而不可盡解」的理論，左乙萱主張艱澀難解的詩的詩意包含在美中。左乙萱以弗瑞德瑞希‧馮‧席勒（Friedrich von Schiller）、赳瑟夫‧愛德森（Joseph Addison）、萊恩諾爾‧崔林（Lionel Trilling）、貝內德投‧克羅切（Benedetto Croce）、維絲瓦伐‧辛姆柏絲卡（Wisława Szymborska）、豪爾德‧內默諾夫（Howard Nemerov）的詩論解釋自創的理論。Sarah Yihsuan Tso’s third book Lo Fu and Surrealism: The Techniques and Concepts of Surrealism, Death of a Stone Cell, and “Golden Dragon Temple” suggests that Lo Fu’s virtuoso surrealist poems Death of a Stone Cell and “Golden Dragon Temple” reflect the techniques and concepts of surrealism he discusses in his essays and in the English books about surrealism he consulted. Tso maintains, in her own theory, that “poetry’s beauty can be intuited, but the ideas cannot be thoroughly deciphered.” Tso argues that the ideas of abstruse poetry are enmeshed in its beauty. Tso applies the poetical theories of Friedrich von Schiller, Joseph Addison, Lionel Trilling, Benedetto Croce, Wisława Szymborska, and Howard Nemerov to expound her own theory.

作者介紹 左乙萱博士為國立臺灣師範大學副教授，著有The Extension of Space in Globalization: The Globally Extended Space and Human Rights in Theories and Modern and Contemporary Taiwanese and American Poetry (2020)與Global Time-Space Reorderings: Literary, Cultural, and Cinematic Transformations (2014)。著作還包括英文詩集Roses de matin (2024)、中文詩集《因天生如此》(2024)、論台灣詩歌與電影、全球化、美國詩與小說、女性文學、性別平等主義與理論、洛夫、哈金、降恩‧濟慈之期刊與專書論文。Dr. Sarah Yihsuan Tso is Associate Professor at National Taiwan Normal University. She is the author of The Extension of Space in Globalization: The Globally Extended Space and Human Rights in Theories and Modern and Contemporary Taiwanese and American Poetry (2020) and Global Time-Space Reorderings: Literary, Cultural, and Cinematic Transformations (2014). She has also written Roses de matin, a book of poems in English (2024); Yin tiansheng ruci, a book of poems in Chinese (2024); and journal articles and book chapters on Taiwanese poetry and cinema, globalization, American poetry and novels, women’s literature, feminism, feminist theories, Lo Fu, Ha Jin, and John Keats.
